I qualified from the Leeds School of Physiotherapy in 1984. For many years I worked with patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary, and in their post-intensive care rehabitation. I also worked with patients with chronic respiratory illness. Since 1995 I have specialized in musculo-skeletal problems. I have a special interest in spinal pain and corticosteroid injection therapy.

To this end I qualified in 2000 as a Credialled therapist with the Mckenzie Institute, an internationally recognized body. In 2003 I obtained the Diploma in Injection therapy from the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Orthopaedic Medicine. I believe in thoroughly assessing all aspects of each person’s condition to provide the most appropriate and personally tailored rehabitation programme.
